Background....While earning a BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design, I was provided a strong foundation of drawing, painting and ceramics as well as art history. I have built a strong studio background, which I feel is critical to provide quality instruction to others.
Becoming a post baccalaureate student at Otterbein University, I have also gained valuable real-life |
experience. I have such an appreciation for what was provided to me, that I want to pass the same experience on to my students. I believe the best teachers lead by example. Being successful as an artist is rewarding but inspiring students provide me with a greater satisfaction. For me it is more rewarding to empower and impact others. I want to establish an environment that inspires my students to be encouraging, thoughtful, sharing and the desire to collaborate their knowledge with one another. Through my trusted role as an educator, I hope to help build a stronger, more supportive art community. |
