"Artchives"
http://artchive.com; This website has tons of information about all sorts of different artists and period styles, as well as images. If a student needed to do research or wanted to look up a particular artist of period style, they could go to Artchives!
Create your own Jackson Pollock!
http://www.jacksonpollock.org/; Here is another fun site where you can recreate a Jackson Pollock painting! Students can get a feel for Pollock's technique and style by playing with this website!

http://www.americansforthearts.org/public_awareness/; This website is a public awareness website about keeping Arts in the schools. This website has beneficial information for parents of students. They can access this website to read about why having the Arts in public schools is so important!
Columbus Museum of Art
http://www.columbusmuseum.org/; This is the website for the Columbus Museum of Art. Because we are located in Columbus, the Columbus Museum of Art would be an excellent resource for my students. I would love to take my classes to the museum, but in the meantime this website provides excellent resources as well as information on visiting and permanent exhibits.
National Gallery of Art for Kids
http://www.nga.gov/kids/; This website is a fantastic resource that can be used at home. It includes kid-friendly information about several different artists, corresponding project ideas and online activities.
Destination Modern Art
http://www.moma.org/interactives/destination/; I use this website in my classroom all of the time! With this website you can take a virtual tour of the Modern Museum of Art in New York City. Each artwork shown in the museum has information about the work and artist, online activities and projects you can do at home!
